London Fog OES

For years -- well over a decade in fact -- London Fog Old English Sheepdogs, the breeding program established by my parents, has been "on ice," with the last London Fog litter born in 2001.  That all changes today, with our newest addition...

Introducing
Tana's Bombogenesis at London Fog!

"GENNY"

In April 2014, I was given the opportunity to whelp and raise a litter out of the lovely Olivia, a bitch I co-own and showed for owners Fran Methelis and Nana Vesel-Dodds.  I have loved Olivia since she was a baby and showed her at her first AKC show to a Herding Puppy Group1st place, and secretly would have loved Olivia for myself -- with her laid back confidence, she was everything I loved about living with Sheepdogs as a kid growing up.  I was especially excited with the choice of stud dog, Liz Fujikawa's GCh, Wynward's Remember That, a beautiful, sound and typey dog who also carries with him a legacy of health and temperament so important for this breed.  You can see and read more about Olivia, Bart and the litter here.

From birth, one puppy in the litter stole my heart, with her big black eye patch and white fleck on her backside.  I immediately dubbed her "Fleck Girl" and knew she was going to be something special.  While it became clear early on that "Genny" wasn't going to go anywhere, it was only after my Mom flew up from North Carolina to see the puppies, and also fell in love with her, that it hit us (Nana and I)...my Mom should co-own Genny with us, and also bear the London Fog kennel name...so that she might one day resurrect the breeding program that began back in 1974, with the first London Fog litter.

We are all excited to watch this little lady grow up, and hopefully go on to do wonderful things -- with her sweet sassy presence, beautiful breed type and four very sound legs.  She is a doll, through and through, and I'm so happy to share my home with her.
