- October 1, 2017 -- WB and BOW at the C&P GSMD Specialty in Millwood VA for a 5 point major...her first show, and 7 months of age.
2018
- September 17, 2018 -- WB/BOW and Best Bred By at the GSMDCA Regional Specialty in Utah, for her 2nd 5 point major, only her second time in the ring
- September 20, 2018 -- Wins the Bred By class at the GSMDCA National
- December 15, 2018 -- RWB at the MAGS Specialty, Allentown PA
2019
- June 9, 2019 -- WB/BOW, Best Bred-By, BOBOH and OHG3 at the Patriot GSMD Club Specialty in Norwalk, CT. Rain finishes her championship with THREE Specialty 5-point majors.
LET IT RAIN!
Rain is my very special Blaze x Eden daughter. Before I'd ever even bred a litter, I fantasized about having a litter of Blaze puppies, and the very first breeding I attempted was a frozen semen breeding to Blaze, with Rain's great grandmother Moxie. Unfortunately, that breeding did not produce any puppies. TEN years later, I finally got my Blaze puppies, when I bred Moxie's gorgeous granddaughter Eden to Blaze, who is also Eden's great grandfather. This line breeding produced three very special puppies, and Rain was my keeper!
From the moment Rain set foot in the show ring, I knew this firecracker was going to be something special. At 7 months of age, she took WB and BOW at the C&P specialty, next to her mother who was Best in Specialty. I showed her selectively over the next two years, only at specialties, and it a total of five shows, she was WB/BOW three times to finish her championship with THREE Specialty 5-point majors!
Rain is the embodiment of pure playful joy, a perpetual puppy. She's never met a human or other dog she didn't immediately love and she wears her emotions on her always smiling face, much like her beautiful mother.
Rain is a natural in the show ring, with her sparkling attitude and her gorgeous movement. She has lovely reach and drive with an incredibly powerful hindquarters, a thick body, fat tail, correct coat and beautiful conservative markings. Now that Rain has passed all her health clearances, we are very excited to see what she has to offer in the whelping box...hopefully she will continue the legacy of her mother, my beloved Eden.
